Who's Joseph?

I am Joseph! I started this blog in 2006 as nothing more than a simple outlet for creative expression. Looking back over the archived content, it seems I was doing something else simultaneously: I was cataloging my growth as a writer. Embarrassed about some of the pieces? In retrospect, perhaps I should be. 

But creativity is messy. There is no single mould, or form. It takes all kinds. It takes time. For perspectives to shift, by understanding gained through our own experiences or by education through the experiences of others. In spite of our differences as people, it is a common thread that gathers us here on forums such as this. The fabric of creation. The substance of our imaginations.

Over the years I have added poems, lyrics, short prose pieces and articles on current events to this blog. Since this blog's creation, I have written a collection of poetry and a short novel, and through these endeavours, continue to grow as a writer.
